Kim and Kourtney Kardashian had a moment on the People’s Choice Awards’ red carpet today when the former interrupted her older sister’s interview to answer a question about fashion.
When E! News’ Giuliana Rancic stopped the famous dynasty to chat, she asked them each to breakdown their looks, a tired question but we’re running with it for the sake of this story. “I didn’t plan this…,” answered Kourtney before explaining she was unsure how to pronounce the designer. But never fear, because Kim – who was wearing Versace – knows everything.
“We’re wearing KKW Diamonds. That’s all that matters,” she responded. “I was saving you since you didn’t know who you were wearing. That was my save…”
Kourtney snapped back. “I do know, I just didn’t know how to pronounce it.”
Fans online pointed out how rude Kim’s comments were which seemed like she was placing herself above her sister.

On the night, the KUWTK family picked up the award for Reality Show of 2019 while Khloe picked up the Reality Star of 2019 Award. As they took to the stage, Kim told the crowd: “You guys have been there for us for 18 seasons, we’re almost done with season 18,” she said. “You’ve seen so many evolutions and growth and transformations from all of us, personally, professionally, and we’re just so glad that we’re still entertaining, 18 seasons later, so thank you.”
Personally I’m disappointed in Rancic. Of all the questions she could have asked Kim about her law degree, her prison reform plans, she chose to ask about their outfits. We’re guessing Rancic couldn’t try this one on Zendaya. In 2015, the host said the actor’s dreadlocks looked like they “smelled like patouli oil or weed”. Zendaya wrote a co-op piece for GRAZIA in response to the controversy. Read it here.
