Kim Kardashian might have just launched her own line of luxury skincare, but it seems she might just appreciate a simple bargain beauty buy just like the rest of us. The Skims founder recently shared a snap in what appears to be her hotel room and there was an array of beauty products visible on her bathroom vanity – and surprisingly, none looked to be from her SKKN By Kim range.

Now who knows why this could be – while fans are suggesting the billionaire doesn’t actually use her own products, Kardashian is yet to comment on the speculation. We’ll let you draw your own conclusions, but we also need to discuss a few surprises that were spotted amongst the star’s skincare line-up – such as the $10 drugstore moisturiser she appears to use.

As TikTok creator @careclarkbsn revealed in a video, Kardashian’s face cream of choice seems to be the Cetaphil Moisturising Cream, which clocks in at just $10.

The moisturiser is a popular choice for those looking for a simple, inexpensive moisturiser that provides intense hydration to dry and really dry skin. Kardashian has spoken openly for years about her experience with the skin condition psoriasis, which may be why she opts for this gentle, no-frills formula.

Cetaphil’s Moisturising Cream is also often used by many alongside more active skincare, such as prescription-only tretinoin, as the dermatologically-backed formula soothes the skin and plays well with more powerful ingredients that can cause flaking, redness and irritation.

While Kardashian’s beauty loot didn’t appear to include a prescription product, she was spied with several Biologique Recherche serums that do pack a punch. Eagle-eyed observers also spotted the Olaplex No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner ($54 each and both essential reparative haircare for a freshly-minted platinum blonde), as well as Neutrogena’s Night Calming Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($8.49).

We love to see it!
