Khloe Kardashian is the latest to call out Kanye West after the rapper’s controversial and downright damaging runway show at Paris Fashion Week. But the Good American founder isn’t publicly slamming West for his ‘white lives matter’ rhetoric, rather she’s stepping in to defend his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, who somehow got pulled into things.
In response to the critics who “chimed in” with their criticism about his T-shirts, West expressed that he didn’t get the same rallying response from people when he was publicly bullying Kardashian earlier this year, posting videos to social media claiming he was being kept away from his children. (You don’t say?)
In response, Khloe Kardashian publicly wrote on West’s Instagram, saying she would rather speak in private, but that he continues to take things to the public arena. “Ye, I love you. I don’t want to do this on social media but YOU keep bringing it here,” she began. “You are the father of my nieces and nephews and I’m trying to be respectful but please STOP tearing Kimberly down and using our family when you want to deflect.”
In reference to West’s claim that he wasn’t invited to his daughter Chicago’s birthday party earlier this year (which he claims he was told about through Travis Scott), Kardashian added, “Again with the birthday narrative. Enough already. We all know the truth and in my opinion, everyone’s tired of it.”
“You know exactly where your children are at all times and YOU wanted separate birthdays. I have seen all of the texts to prove it. And when you changed your mind and wanted to attend, you came.”
She continued, “Like you have pointed out yourself, she is the one taking care of your kids 80% of the time. Please Leave her and the family out of it so that the kids can be raised peacefully. I come from a place of love and I am happy to continue this conversation privately if you wish.”
In response, West published the message to his Instagram account, writing that Kardashian is lying and that “yall basically kidnapped Chicago on her birthday.”
