Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar are ride-or-die in the rapper’s new video for Loyalty.
In the high-concept clip, the pair slowly sink in quicksand as Lamar raps about wanting blind and unfailing devotion.
In another part of the video, Kendrick urges Rih-Rih to trust him before dangling her over the edge of a skyscraper – like an extreme version of the trust fall.
The Loyalty video is heavy on storyline and visual effects, which comes as no surprise after Lamar lead the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards nominations.
The rapper earned eight nods for Humble, including Video of the Year and Artist of the Year.
Rihanna is also nominated for Video Of The Year. Unsurprisingly, DJ Khaled’s – Wild Thoughts video featuring Rihanna & Bryson Tiller also landed a spot.
