Kendall Jenner has walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show the last two years, wearing a series of lingerie looks and even donning wings on the runway.

But the reality-star-turned-model isn’t walking in this year’s parade – in fact she didn’t even audition. And now we know why.

According to TMZ, Kendall’s multi-million dollar contract with La Perla lingerie includes a non-compete clause, meaning she can’t model for the brand’s rivals – which undoubtedly includes Victoria’s Secret.

Jenner nor La Perla have publicly commented on the report, but her Instagram post posing in La Perla lingerie on the day Victoria’s Secret announced many of the models walking in this year’s fashion show says it all, really.

It had been thought Kendall’s friend Gigi Hadid might not walk in the 2017 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show when she didn’t share the news with fans despite many other chosen models making announcements. But we should have known Hadid was in – she was just taking her time, confirming she will indeed walk on Instagram this week.
