British Legend will tell you that when Prince Harry was living his best life as England’s most eligible bachelor, he spent a lot of time at a pub in Chelsea called The Hollywood Arms. He would allegedly enter the premises via a secret entrance so as to go undetected by prying paparazzi.
According to The Daily Mail (which should always be taken with a grain of salt), the future Queen of England, Duchess Of Cambridge Kate Middleton, visited the same English pub for a “meet and greet” drinks party recently that is held each year for parents of new students at George and Charlotte’s school. She reportedly used the same secret doorway that was “originally installed for Harry during his bachelor days”. The mother-of-three did so flanked with just one security officer.
Much the same as Princess Diana, Middleton has been known to try and keep her children’s lives as normal as possible. You may recall a famous outing where Diana took William and Harry to McDonalds and the three were photographed lining up for burgers in a store in Kensington. Much the same the late princess, the plight to modernise the Royal Family continues to endear them to the public.
And a visit to a pub will do that. We wonder if she had a drink.
