Kylie Jenner’s rapper boyfriend Tyga has used her family connection for a leg-up in the music industry, collaborating on a track with Kanye West.
In September it was announced that Yeezy had signed Tyga to his label G.O.O.D Music, and three months later we’ve got the first fruits of the relationship – a new song by Tyga called Feel Me featuring Kanye, released on New Year’s Eve.
The rappers seem to have been inspired by their significant others for the song. Tyga mentions Kylie (“Kylie Jenner thick, you gotta feel me”) and references her lavish gifts to her long-time boyfriend in the form of luxury cars (“Happy birthday, here’s a Benz”, feel me?”)
In Kanye’s verse, he offers a similar line – “Kim K thick, you gotta feel me At the dealership like what’s the dealy?”
A music video for Feel Me is yet to be released, but there’s a good chance Kylie and/or Kim will make a cameo.
Tyga has failed to have significant mainstream success since the release of his 2012 track Rack City, so the Kanye West touch could be just what he needs to revive his career … and get on top of all those financial lawsuits.
