18-year-old model Kaia Gerber has sent the internet into a tailspin after kind of alluding to the fact that she’s pregnant. On her Instagram stories, the face of YSL Beauty just shared an image of herself with an ever-so-slightly bloated stomach holding a copy of The One Minute Mother by Spencer Johnson – a book that, according to the blurb on Amazon, “begins where most mothers are and takes them to where they want to be.” She’s also holding a tub of dairy-free ice cream (yum) and has captioned the upload “read into this.”
Gerber has been linked Pete Davidson since late last year, but the pair have since reportedly called it quits. During their time together however there were rumours of pregnancy, eloping and family rifts, but we had all but classified it as tabloid fodder. Gerber was even photographed just a few days ago looking very much not pregnant grabbing a juice in Malibu.
But now the supermodel prodigy has us confused – is this her idea of breaking the unexpected news to the world, or is she just poking fun at the celebrity rumour mill? Time (and forthcoming fashion weeks) will tell. Either way, well wishes for Gerber all around.
