American Horror Stories has almost arrived. After it was confirmed Kaia Gerber would join the cast in March, the highly-anticipated series trailer has dropped. If you’re easily spooked (and kind of enjoy that feeling?), it’s worth just watching the sneak peek to witness the model’s appearance as “Ruby”.

Unlike the past seasons, American Horror Stories is a weekly anthology series that will feature a different horror story each episode. The new project is the brain child of Emmy and Golden Globe award winning producer Ryan Murphy and serves as spin-off to the original FX drama.

Gerber joins the likes of Paris Jackson, Matt Bomer, Danny Trejo, Sierra McCormick, Kyle Reid Silverstein and Naomi Grossman. The trailer teases a terrifying Santa Claus, latex-clad spirits and satanic beasts. This series is definitely not for the faint-hearted.

“We are doing 16, one-hour stand-alone episodes delving into horror myths, legends and lore … many of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love. More to follow … ,” Murphy teased to fans on Twitter prior to the trailer dropping.

The spin-off comes from American Horror Story which first premiered in October 2011. It has featured some of the biggest names in Hollywood; think Evan Peters, Emma Roberts, Sarah Paulson and Billy Porter. It also launched the wider acting career of Lady Gaga who went on to star in A Star is Born and the forthcoming film House of Gucci.

As for Gerber, the daughter to Cindy Crawford has appeared in other on-screen projects such as Sister Cities and The Last Day of Summer. This role, however, is expected to pave the way for more frequent appearances on the silver screen.

In other news, Gerber has confirmed she is still very much together with Jacob Elordi. The 19-year-old posted a photo of the actor to her Instagram account just last week to wish him birthday.

Things are looking good for the young star.
