Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have been in a relationship for about two years. In that time, you could count the number of times they’ve been seen together on one hand.

It’s no wonder Taylor has kept the relationship out of the spotlight after the circus she went through with Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston in 2016, but it’s still an extremely private coupling by Hollywood standards – she’s never talked publicly of her British man.

Now, Joe has spoken. The 27-year-old actor, who’s having a moment thanks to roles in The Favorite, Mary, Queen Of Scots and Boy Erased, acknowledged his relationship with superstar Swift in an interview with Mr Porter.

Describing dating the Bad Blood singer as a “readjustment” in terms of fame, he rejected the claim the couple is unusually private.

“I don’t think anyone you meet on the streets would just spill their guts out to you, therefore why should I?” he countered.

“And then that is defined as being ‘strangely private’. Fine. But I don’t think it is. I think it’s normal.”

However, Taylor and Joe didn’t hide their relationship this month when they made the rounds together at the Golden Globes after-parties.

Slowly, slowly.
