Despite an extensive wardrobe, stylist on demand and a team of managers at her beck and call, Jennifer Lopez still seems to value the art of functional dressing. This month she was captured leaving her hotel in New York City in sensible style but make no mistake, it was worn with a fashionable twist. It’s giving ‘working tourist’ and something you can easily emulate with your own wardrobe.

She paired grey bike shorts with a perfectly ironed oversized white shirt and Off-White “Out of Office” sneakers. Lopez also lent her stamp of approval on what could possibly be the next It-bag, a beige and blue GG Supreme canvas Gucci Attache shoulder bag with G-shaped hook closure and Web shoulder strap. Hands-free style and big enough for all the essentials. In true J Lo style, the look was accessorised with large aviator tinted sunglasses and hoop earrings – an early noughts favourite.

It’s a welcomed relaxed approach to Lopez’s style, especially given she toured much of Europe on her dreamy honeymoon with Ben Affleck in sky-high heels.

Speaking of J Lo’s wedding, the “On The Floor” star has slammed an unnamed guest this week for leaking a short video from her three-day wedding celebration at Affleck’s Georgia plantation estate. A fan account republished the video which was “sold” to TMZ before Lopez responded.

“This was taken without permission. Period,” read a comment she had left. “Whoever did it took advantage of our private moment. I don’t know where you all are getting it from because we had NDAs and asked everyone not to share anything from our wedding. That is our choice to share.”

She continued, “Anything I put out private is OnTheJLO and it’s to share with (sic) my fans. Which I will do when I’m ready to do. This was stolen without our consent and sold for money.”
