Jennifer Lopez stepped out in Midtown New York City at the weekend looking more Parisian chic than her usual take on Y2K pop star. As the actress and singer continues her promotional tour for “Marry Me” this February, she has expectedly gone from sartorial strength to strength. In a sequel to her first little black bag moment, JLo’s next appearance features another coveted favourite.

The elegant ensemble followed four more looks on Friday which featured a green cape and floral gown for an appearance on The View and a Norma Kamali Pre Fall 2022 Gown for her segment on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She later performed on the show giving new meaning to midriff flossing in Grace Ling skirt, blazer and bralette.

Off-duty, Lopez returned to her oh so comfortable ’00s roots in white sweat pants, a faux fur trimmed puffer jacket and high-top sneakers.

The star recently graced the cover of Rolling Stone where she discussed relationships to promote her upcoming movie. Speaking on her first split involving Ben Affleck and the “brutal” media at the time, she says they’re both older and wiser now.

“It’s funny because Ben and I were together, and we were so in love,” she told the publication. “It was one of the happiest times of my life. But also, there was this other thing happening where we were being criticised, and it really destroyed our relationship from the inside out, because we were just too young to understand at that time what were really the most important things in life.”

“We feel like what we found again is so much more important,” she said of their relationship now, nearly 20 years later. “How we protect that and how we live our lives — what to share, what not to share — is the balance that we have now, the benefit of experience and the wisdom that we gained over the years.”
