They started dating in March 2017, and exactly one year later Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have bought a home together.

The New York Post reports the mega-rich couple signed on the dotted line for a US$15.3 million apartment at 432 Park Avenue, the tallest building in New York City (and indeed the whole Western Hemisphere) at 96 floors.

The 4,000 square foot property takes up half a floor of the sought-after building and has envy-inducing views over Manhattan and Central Park, as well as three bedrooms and bathrooms, a powder room, library and a private elevator.

As for the building itself, it offers exclusive perks for residents including private parking, a private chef and dining room, a world-class gym with yoga and Pilates studios, sauna and steam rooms, a boardroom and a cinema.

It’s technically a downgrade for Lopez, who sold her Manhattan duplex penthouse for $27 million in October last year.

The couple are understood to be doing renovations on the property, so a move in by the end of the year when J-Lo finishes her Las Vegas residency in September could be on the cards – just in time to see the autumn leaves change in Central Park.

We’d argue it’s getting harder for J-Lo to claim she’s still Jenny from the Block. Wonder if she can see her old Bronx neighbourhood from up there?
