Since swapping out her short, platinum bob for some creamy blonde extensions, Jennifer Lawrence has been stepping up her hairstyle game, reminding us why she is one of our favourite red carpet beauty risk takers. Attending the premier of her new film, Passengers, in London, pulled her sun kissed strands back into an inside-out braid, which just quietly gave us some serious Katnis Everdeen vibes.

The success of the plait comes down to the prep, with Lawrence’s hairstylist Jenny Cho starting out by creating a base of beachy textured waves before moving onto the braid. Pairing her milkmaid braid with bronzed skin and sheer pink lips, the Oscar-winner shows us once again that nothing makes a pair of smoky eyes stand out better than pulling your hair back off your face. If this isn’t one summer-proof style worth stealing, we don’t know what is.
