Former Victoria’s Secret model Jasmine Tookes has shared vows with Snapchat executive Juan David Borrero in a lavish wedding in Ecuador. Held at the iconic Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco Catholic church in Quito, Tookes has shared details to Instagram on the extravagant soirée.
“Still can’t believe I’m living in a real life fairytale with you @juandavidborrero [red heart emoji] 9.4.21,” Tookes wrote to social media overnight. “I’m officially Mrs. Borrero.”
The magnificent wedding dress was designed by Lebanese fashion designer, Zuhair Murad. No expense was spared on the couture gown which featured a high neck and lace long sleeves, a voluminous detachable overskirt and 15-foot long train. The dress was finished with embroidered sequins and pearls. According to the model’s Instagram stories, she was inspired by the late Grace Kelly, Princess of Monaco.
Tookes wore custom Sarah Flint satin heels and diamond earrings by Ritani – the same jeweller behind the engagement ring.
“The gorgeous Jasmine Tookes looked breathtaking wearing a custom-made #ZuhairMurad Bridal gown to her Enchanted Secret Garden Wedding in Ecuador,” Murad published to Instagram. “From the embroidery of floral patterns to the beading of subtle pearls, the off-white fitted dress is distinguished by a high-collared neckline and arm-hugging long sleeves.
“A draped waist belt uncovers a voluminous detachable overskirt ornamented with lace embroidered with sequins and pearls.

For the reception, Tookes changed into a silky mini Galvan number.
Tookes and Borrero met in 2016 when Snapchat launched Group Stories and looked to hire the model to promote the platform. The tech executive proposed in September 2020 in Rose Cafe in Venice, California (the place they met) with a huge 7-carat Ritani diamond ring.
“After lots of happy tears, I obviously said yes, and this was honestly the best day I could’ve ever imagined,” Tookes said in an interview at the time. “We are very excited and looking forward to a future filled with lots of love and happiness.”
