Ahead of his Australian tour including a Splendour in the Grass appearance on July 24, James Blake has released his third full-length album The Colour In Anything today.

Six years since his career began and just over a week after Beyoncé released her album Lemonade – in which Blake lent his distinct falsetto to her track Forward – we now can enjoy 17 tracks from the man known as a magical woodland creature. The 27-year-old British songwriter also co-wrote Pray You Catch Me, the opener to Beyonce’s album reportedly about her husband’s infidelity.

With two critically acclaimed albums, a Mercury Prize win and a 2014 Grammy and Brit Award nomination, Blake will bring his new melancholia including the recently revealed Modern Soul and Timeless to Australian shores in July. His eleventh track I Need A Forest Fire features Bon Iver.
