Originally a rum-laced Tiki-style cocktail, it’s a refreshing cocktail best enjoyed on a sandy patch of Seven Mile Beach, sun-drenched and deliriously happy, sipping its sweet, sweet nectar to the smooth, mellow beats of Bob Marley. Ah, the life! But for most, a trip to Jamaica isn’t on the cards anytime soon, so Disaronno brings the Caribbean to you with this cool-as-a-cucumber take on the tropical tipple.

Fresh, long and easy-going, grab your favourite shaker and start with 5ml of passionfruit syrup, followed by 50ml of mango juice, 25ml of fresh lemon juice and 35ml of Disaronno. For an extra hit of freshness, add two slices of cucumber to the shaker and muddle them properly. Add ice, shake hard and strain over ice cubes in your favourite Tiki cup. To garnish, add pineapple leaves, half a passionfruit and a sprig of fresh mint.

2 SLICES OF CUCUMBER
