Scarlett Johansson’s parody of Ivanka Trump was one of the most viral Saturday Night Live sketches of 2017.

In it, Johansson skewered Donald Trump’s daughter for claiming to be a feminist, despite her unwavering support for her blatantly sexist and alleged sexual harasser dad.

Now it’s been revealed how devastated Ivanka was by it, with former White House adviser Omarosa Manigault Newman telling all in her memoir Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.

Recalling Ivanka’s reaction after the SNL sketch aired as “thin-skinned”, Omarosa writes:

“At the senior staff meeting, Ivanka couldn’t stop bemoaning it, how offensive it was, how ridiculous it was.

“We’d all been subject to SNL attacks … We’d all been hit, many of us in that same week’s show. But Ivanka would not stop talking about being ribbed.

“Like her father, Ivanka was thin-skinned and could not seem to take a joke.”
