In a time of isolation, fear and unprecedented tragedy, luxury Italian house Bottega Veneta is offering comfort and distraction via a new multi-platform concept to share strength, positivity and creativity across the globe.

Introducing “Bottega Residency”, a digital platform intended to soothe frayed nerves by offering a joyous distraction of creativity and collaboration in these trying times.

Each week, different collaborators, muses and talents will take the “stage”, sharing and celebrating the creative minds and works that have influenced their lives and their work, and in turn touched their souls – from writers and musicians, to film directors and performers.

Over the course of each weekend, Bottega Residency comes alive with live music performed by collaborating artists, cooking and recipes from rising chefs, and a “Sunday movie night in”, a collaboration with a film industry partner intended to mirror an average weekend and provide a sense of familiar normality. This journey of consistent collaboration aims to provide inspiration, activity and comfort at a time of loneliness.

It also embodies the true meaning of Bottega, translated from Italian, “workshop” — exisiting as a kind of laboratory of creativity.

Like so many industries, the fashion industry too is aching. Considered, thoughtful reinvention and digression is key to its survival, with the Bottega Residency a most perfect example of this. A new approach to luxury, this initiative presents joyous escapism while still championing the arts in all its forms.

Accessible across Instagram, Youtube, Weibo, Line, Kakao, Spotify, Apple Music, as well as unique mini-site on www.bottegaveneta.com, Bottega Residency will continue to live on within the brand’s overarching strategy.

The first episode features none other than the brand’s creative virtuoso, Daniel Lee. Ferociously private, you can finally glean what makes this brilliant mind tick, and feel a sense of solace all the same.

“Creativity and strength lie at the heart of Bottega Veneta. In this highly distressing time, we feel a responsibility to celebrate those values and ignite a sense of joy and hope in our community and beyond.” — Daniel Lee
