PEOPLE magazine have confirmed actor Bradley Cooper, 44, and model Irina Shayk, 33, have officially ended their four-year relationship. According to the publication, the former couple are “amicably working out” how to share custody of their two-year-old daughter Lea De Seine.

Both Cooper and Shayk’s representatives have not formerly responded to reports.

The former couple kept their relationship extremely private with Shayk telling Glamour magazine in February that she preferred it that way. “I have a lot of friends who share a lot of their personal life on Instagram or social media, very publicly. I admire it and I think it’s great – but I think it’s all about personal choice,” she said. “Because my work requires me to be out there, I just decided my personal life will be quiet. That’s why it’s called personal, because it’s something for you and your family, and I feel happy with it.”

But if a picture could speak one thousand words, Cooper and Shayk were shaky. Graceful throughout Cooper’s A Star Is Born award season frenzy, the model applauded at the right time and smiled through speculation her partner was romantically involved with his co-star Lady Gaga. (Gaga herself has shut down these rumours.) But Shayk’s Instagram account showed pictures of her partying and laughing alongside fellow mode Stella Maxwell – and then whenever she was pictured with Cooper in a candid moment, she appeared glum. Shayk attended the Met Gala alone this year which again added fuel to the break-up rumours. At the end of last year, onlookers at a Japanese restaurant in New York City noted the couple dined near them and “barely spoke” to one another.

More to come.
