With Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty and Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits, the celebrity-owned-and-endorsed beauty space is already saturated. But like all good things, more is more – and it appears Hailey Bieber (nee Baldwin) is gearing up to release a beauty line of her very own.

According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Justin Bieber’s wife, 22, filed to trademark the name Bieber Beauty for intent to sell beauty and cosmetic products on April 10. The trademark was then updated five days later to include clothing “like bathing suits, athletic shoes, track suits, blazers, jeans, dresses, lingerie and more.” The model also trademarked her maiden name.

Twenty-two-year-old Bieber has recently held ambassador roles with Bare Minerals, ModelCo and L’Oréal Professionnel.

Recently launching a sell-out swimwear and clothing range with her best friend surfer Kelia Moniz in collaboration with surfwear label ROXY, it’s a natural fit for Bieber to move into the design space. And just as Kim Kardashian West is embarking on a four-year law degree and Kourtney Kardashian now has a content platform in her new website poosh.com, more and more personalities are ensuring their brand longevity and capitalising while the iron is scorching.

Speaking recently to GRAZIA, Bieber talked about the importance of more women in leadership roles. “I would really love to see more women get treated with the same level of respect as men in the business and finance world,” she said at the ROXY Sister collection launch in Malibu last month. “I’m so freaking excited and happy that so many amazing women bosses are taking their rightful place in the business world, and i just hope that continues.”

Here’s to one more female boss in the world.
