Marc Jacobs Beauty has a brand new (and very beautiful) face for 2019, model Irina Shayk.

Shayk’s first campaign for Marc Jacobs Beauty will make its debut in her native Russia, launching in Sephora on January 14, with Shayk making a personal appearance at Sephora Moscow on January 26. A timely acquisition for the Sephora-loyal brand, Shayk’s signing coincides with recent arrival of Sephora into the Russian market. “When we entered Russia earlier in the year, we knew we wanted to have someone who inherently matched the beauty and strength of the region. Irina was a natural choice, and we’re thrilled to add her to the group of impressive women who have represented Marc Jacobs Beauty,” said Tara Loftis of Kendo Brands (Marc Jacobs Beauty’s parent company).

Lensed by David Sims under the creative direction of stylist Katie Grand, Irina had quite the glam squad on hand for the campaign shoot. Hair was coiffed by legend Guido Palau, nails were painted by master manicurist Jin Soon Choi, whilst her Marc Jacobs Beauty face was thanks to makeup maven Diane Kendal – a dream team, indeed.

And Irina’s in good – or rather beautiful – company. She joins a long list of iconic women such as Jessica lange, Edie Campbell, Winona Ryder, Aya Jones, Kaia Gerber, Adwoa Aboah and Lila Mos who have been, and also continue to serve as faces of the brand.

As for Irina herself, she’s thrilled, naturally. “I’ve loved and admired Marc for his wonderful fashions and overarching vision of beauty. It’s such an honour to represent Marc Jacobs Beauty in my home country.”

And if the first campaign image is anything to go by, it’s set be spectacular.
