The last time we saw Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper step foot on a red carpet together was at the 91st Academy Awards back in 2019. Just four months later the couple shockingly split. Now amid rumours the couple could be getting back together, Shayk appeared alongside Cooper for the premiere of his new film Nightmare Alley in New York City.
“It’s very special,” the actor told Entertainment Tonight of having his ex and mother of his four-year-old daughter, Lea, with him.
Despite the surprise appearance, the pair did not pose for photos together and instead Shayk was seen linking arms with Belgium-born model Stella Maxwell. In fitting style for the 1947 film noir, Shayk wore Burberry pinstripe suit and black leather harness. Her hair was slicked back and the look finished with a bold red lip.
Shayk and Cooper were seen alone and linking arms during a walk though Manhattan last month (they’re usually with their daughter), pictures which sparked speculation of a possible romantic reconciliation.
Of Shayk and Cooper’s parenting arrangements, a source told E! News back in March that the former couple “have a good system in place for Lea” and “they take turns with her.” They added, “They also come together as a family and do things when they can. They communicate a lot and are good friends.”
“They both love their daughter more than anything and they come together for her,” the source added. “They are getting along well and everything is very positive. It’s still a transition period, and they are trying to figure out how it’s going to work going forward, but they are in a good place.”
