Between America’s most famed burger chain In-N-Out supplying endless cheeseburgers, fried chicken and fried from their not-so-secret menu to somebody stealing Frances McDromand’s Oscar, the next headline to come out of the Vanity Fair post-Oscar’s party centred upon the Victoria’s Secret supermodels. It was as if the statuesque beauties had all rendevous-ed over a WhatsApp thread and were in unanimous agreement when it came to the sartorial brief: Show-stopping. Floor-length gown. Extremely bronzed skin. Look better than every movie star ever.
While celebrities like Laura Dern reportedly spent their car ride from the ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in West Hollywood to the party in Beverley Hills Googling what indeed McDormand meant when she said “inclusion rider” in her acceptance speech, the angels were getting ready to shut down the whole damn event with the first flash of a photographer’s bulb in the arrival’s foyer.
Alessandra Ambrosio spelt Brazilian amazon in a sheer, sparkling Ralph & Russo which made party-goers question why indeed that body has retired from the glittering VS runway.
