Kicking off where last week’s eclipse left off, you could feel like you’re floating in an alternate reality this week. Romantically there’s the potential for grand gestures, sweet synchronicities and big feelings mid-week. Socially there could be lots on, and possibly lots to drink.

On a productivity level, it’s not so hot. Mercury retrograde is sending us back to review, revise and reassess things we thought we’d crossed off our list. Don’t be surprised if you’re forced to revisit a bunch of stuff – conversations, tasks, chores – especially from last week (24 – 30 May). The frustration of it all may boil over on the weekend – 5 June looks especially tricky. Keep your practical expectations low but your heart open and you’ll find your way, no problem.

ARIES AND ARIES RISING

Clear you schedule and surprise someone you love with a home-cooked meal (or some fancy Uber Eats if you’re culinarily challenged) around 3 June. A quiet night in will be just what you need to unwind from the tech meltdowns caused by Mercury retrograde.

TAURUS AND TAURUS RISING

Get your favourite humans together and schedule a low-key mid-week dinner (especially around 3 June). No need for an excuse, just book somewhere you’ve been walking past and wanting to go for ages. One word of warning: your spending this week as it could easily get away from you so keep an eye on it if you’re on a budget.

GEMINI AND GEMINI RISING

If you’ve been toying with the idea of reconnecting with someone you used to work with, the stars are primed to forge a strong connection mid-week (3 June). Send the LinkedIn, write the email or pick up the phone. This isn’t a good time to nut out the finer details. Instead, focus on building a relationship and re-establishing rapport.

CANCER AND CANCER RISING

Continuing from last week’s hibernation order, this week make sure you treat yourself at least once (preferably more) to a little bit of pampering. Show your body a little love with a 1-on-1 yoga lesson, new underwear or a massage. Mid-week looks especially nice for treating yourself just because.

LEO AND LEO RISING

A problem shared really will be a problem halved this week. If the headiness of this year has left you a little worse for wear, this is an excellent week to talk about your feelings. Being vulnerable isn’t easy for Leos, so if you’re not comfortable talking to a friend, reach out to a pro for extra support.

VIRGO AND VIRGO RISING

There’s some sweet astro weather charging up your love life this week, encouraging you to take a leap and get swept away in romance. If you’re single, say “yes” to last-minute invites and spontaneous after-work drinks, especially mid-week (3 June). You never know who you might meet or where it could lead.

LIBRA AND LIBRA RISING

How often do you make space for joy in your daily routine? This week, challenge yourself to schedule something small but life-affirming every day. Walk in the sunshine, take a long bath or call someone who makes you laugh.

SCORPIO AND SCORPIO RISING

The stars are primed to make sex an almost spiritual experience, especially mid-week. Clear your schedule and lose yourself in physical pleasure, especially around 3 June. Not in the mood? Experiment with something that nourishes your artistic appetite like seeing live music or going to a gallery.

SAGITTARIUS AND SAGITTARIUS RISING

If things are feeling tetchy in your relationship, take the pressure off with a little staycation. Plan a day off at home together doing something fun and luxurious. If you’re single, a little break from apps mid-week could help recharge your batteries.

Distract yourself from the daily tech meltdowns Mercury retrograde may be causing by getting lost in a new TV show. Leave the Scandi noir for another week, and let yourself escape into something romantic and sweet, preferably with someone you love.

Treat yourself to something that feels like a genuine investment in your health. A little acupuncture, a trip to the osteo or some remedial massage will go a long way to stop yourself absorbing too much of the collective anxiety caused by Mercury retrograde.

PISCES AND PISCES RISING

Pass the Pinot Gris because this week is looking loose! Let some nice astrology be a good enough reason to lash out. Book your favourite karaoke spot or a mid-week hotel stay (or both) and let yourself unwind, especially around 3 June.
