This week’s astro challenge is to explore how you deal with big emotions. On a collective scale, there’s no shortage of drama, but hey, what’s new? The question is, how do you cope with it on a personal level?

There’s no right or wrong answer, your only homework is to feel it all. With the sun in Cancer and Jupiter in Pisces, we’re getting extra help to do just that. Laugh, cry, shout… just promise you won’t hold it in! What we resist persists, so this week let yourself move through what’s happening and don’t be afraid to ask for help if you need it.

ARIES AND ARIES RISING

The same issues that have been coming up again and again this year (especially mid-February and mid-June) especially around friends and money get stirred up this week (peaking 30 June – 1 July GMT and AEST). Your challenge, if you choose to except it, is to process what you’re feeling through creativity. Sing, dance or journal it out, whatever feels like the best release. The results may surprise you.

TAURUS AND TAURUS RISING

Striking a balance between your career and home life will be on your mind this week (30 June – 1 July GMT and AEST). With Mars in Leo activating longer-term discussions, there will be a lot to process. Don’t bottle up what you’re feeling, but choose your audience. Resist the temptation to take it out on your nearest and dearest just because they’re right in front of you (3 – 4 July GMT and AEST).

GEMINI AND GEMINI RISING

There’s a lot going on collectively this week but no one knows how to roll with change quite as well as you! Maintaining perspective and staying flexible is key to moving through it all. Expect plans to change, approvals to be reneged (30 June – 1 July GMT and AEST) and don’t be surprised by a few sudden outbursts (your own included) especially over the weekend (3 – 4 July GMT and AEST).

CANCER AND CANCER RISING

Familiar themes around change and restriction are in the mix this week (peaking 30 June – 1 July GMT and AEST), but what’s different is how they’ll impact you on a personal level. There could be some unexpected expenses, or you might just want to deal with the frustration by shopping up a storm. If you’re on a budget, don’t go near those mid-year sales EDMs or things could get out of hand fast, especially over the weekend (3 – 4 July GMT and AEST).

LEO AND LEO RISING

You’ll be feeling all the feelings this week as circumstances beyond your control force you to change plans (especially mid-week – 30 June/1 July GMT and AEST). It will be infuriating, and the temptation to do something impulsive, especially related to work, will be major. If in doubt, save that email to drafts and give yourself until the 8th to think it through.

VIRGO AND VIRGO RISING

There’s a lot of angst bouncing around on a collective level this week which could start to take its toll on even the most level-headed Virgos. Prioritising your health is important. Have self-care practices in place especially over the weekend (3–4 July) to help soothe frayed nerves and process what’s going on.

LIBRA AND LIBRA RISING

Old patterns won’t open new pathways, but you knew that already, right?. Still, it’s a recurring theme, and one that will bubble up to the surface again this week, potentially aggravated by a situation with friends (30 June – 1 July GMT and AEST). Stay calm and be mindful of unexpected meltdowns – either your own, or from friends – on the weekend (3 – 4 July GMT and AEST).

SCORPIO AND SCORPIO RISING

Situations out of your hands could trigger some big feelings this week, especially around Wednesday and Thursday (GMT and AEST). Professionally, you’ll feel more motivated than ever but  – much to your dismay – progress will be slow. Focus on the things you can get done, small wins and as much autonomy as you can wrangle will go a long way to ease the frustration at work, and come the weekend, in your relationship too (3 – 4 July GMT and AEST).

SAGITTARIUS AND SAGITTARIUS RISING

Communications feel strained this week, as unexpected disruptions mess with your work and travel plans (peaking 30 June – 1 July GMT and AEST). Preparing for a bit of drama is your best MO. Anticipate last minute hiccups and you’ll be better placed to take it in your stride, although it won’t be any less annoying. When you feel anger bubbling up (especially 3–4 July GMT and AEST), let it out, and then move on.

CAPRICORN AND CAPRICORN RISING

Perspective and equilibrium are two of your superpowers and you’ll be called to draw on both this week. A hard “no” mid-week (30 June – 1 July GMT and AEST) feels infuriating, and could manifest around money, self-worth or your “stuff”. You could be overwhelmed by a spontaneous urge to purge as a way of coping (especially 3 – 4 July GMT and AEST). Be gentle with yourself and let the full gamut of emotions move through you, even if it’s just behind closed doors.

AQUARIUS AND AQUARIUS RISING

The bigger picture will feel a little more personal this week as the ongoing storyline around breaking free and staying safe cycles around again for your consideration (30 June – 1 July GMT and AEST). Resist the urge to detach from what you’re feeling, and remind yourself that anger is not a sign of weakness. Make an effort to work through it, but be careful not to take out your frustrations on your partner/best friends (especially 3 – 4 July GMT and AEST).

PISCES AND PISCES RISING

The news cycle could feel especially taxing this week, especially at work (peaking 30 June – 1 July AEST and GMT). If you manage a team, expect the vibe to be a bit choppy. As frustrating as it may be, remind yourself that everyone deals with things in their own way. Confrontation isn’t inherently bad; the real skill is in how you respond to it. Lead by example and resist the urge to run your mouth.
