An urge to get away, or at least check out from real life, will inspire you to leave work early and hit the road – or at least head for drinks. Tuesday’s full moon in Sagittarius has big glitter bomb feels, beckoning you to cut loose and live a little. With Neptune involved it’s a time to dream big and fantasise about your next adventure. It’s the sort of weather where one after-work Pét Nat could turn into two bottles in record time. If you’ve got a lot of work to get through this week, it might pay to stay home; restraint will not be easy to come by. Meanwhile with Mercury shifting into its home sign of Gemini, the general day-to-day pace should feel a whole lot faster. Loose ends left hanging from the start of May should start to clear up.

ARIES AND ARIES RISING

Desperate for a break? The urge to drop everything and jump on a plane could prove too strong to resist this week as Neptune tempts you to turn that island escape you’ve been dreaming of into a reality. If you’ve got the means to make it happen make sure cross check the practicalities before you take off.

TAURUS AND TAURUS RISING

An apparent moment of clarity early in the week could supercharge your desire to overextend yourself, especially when it comes to cash. As tempting as it may be, resist the urge to take on extra debt, especially anything involving friends. If an investment opportunity seems like a no-brainer, it’s probably too good to be true.

GEMINI AND GEMINI RISING

With Mercury (your ruling planet) back in Gemini (13 June GMT, 14 June AEST) you should have a whole lot more pep in your step the rest of the month. Tuesday’s full moon brings all the heart-eye emoji feels, and Neptune should inspire big career dreams. Enjoy the fairy dust but resist the urge to make any life changing decisions. All that shimmers is not platinum.

CANCER AND CANCER RISING

Taking off – whether it’s a yoga retreat, or a Euro summer jaunt – could feel like the perfect fix this week. And while the full moon looks set to highlight where and how you need to take better care of yourself (work less, rest more), a spontaneous escape could be a tad shortsighted. Give yourself until Sunday to ponder what’s going to serve you best, then go ahead and book.

LEO AND LEO RISING

All signs point to letting loose this week as big Neptune energy beckons you to switch off and check out. With the full moon lighting up your pleasure sector, it’s the kind of weather where a platonic dinner could somehow turn into a full-throttle hook-up. If you’re worried about boundaries with a certain someone, give them a wide berth this week – the temptation may prove too strong to resist.

VIRGO AND VIRGO RISING

It may seem like you’ve (finally) come up with a genius solution this week – especially around work and home life. Although things may seem crystal clear, it’s not a great time to try and nail down the details. No matter how hard you sense check your new strategy, there is something not yet apparent. It will be tough, but try to wait and see. All will become clear in good time.

LIBRA AND LIBRA RISING

The skies are lush to bring a sense of wonder and whimsy to your day-to-day routine this week. While your ruling planet (Venus) will have you feeling extra antsy to take on the next challenge, this is a week to dream, rather than do. Set your alarm for early-morning Vinyasa or commit to a 7-day meditation challenge; anything spiritually enriching will feel incredible.

SCORPIO AND SCORPIO RISING

If ever there was a week for emotional purchases, this is it. With Neptune clouding your judgement the urge to shop the pain away will be real. A little just-because treat might pep you up for a minute, but delving deeper into what you’re trying to escape with spontaneous purchases might serve you better. You’re better equipped than any other sign to figure out what’s really going on.

SAGITTARIUS AND SAGITTARIUS RISING

Giving yourself (and your partner if you’re coupled up) space for spontaneity is just what the doctor ordered this week. Allow yourself the time to dream big and escape the mundane. It doesn’t have to be fancy or far-flung (although if a last-minute getaway is an option, that could be fun). At the least, cracking a bottle of something special in front of What I Know About Love will do just fine too.

CAPRICORN AND CAPRICORN RISING

What would you do if you had no responsibilities? It’s a question worth pondering this week as the full moon dares you to dream about a life without commitments. Of course the reality of this would actually be deeply uncomfortable for most Cap folks, but allowing yourself to consider what you’d prioritise or explore if no one was relying on you could unearth some interesting revelations. Write them down, they may come in handy down the track.

AQUARIUS AND AQUARIUS RISING

The skies this week will have even the most earnest Aquarians feeling a little frisky. You’ve been in the thick of it since the start of May, so don’t deprive yourself when a glass of wine (or three) comes a-callin’. A little last-minute debauchery could be just what you need to reset and recharge those steely never-say-die batteries of yours.

PISCES AND PISCES RISING

Ready to shake off the drudgery of the past month (Year? Three years?). This week you’ll be feeling extra flowy and primed to let loose, and let it all go. With Neptune casting an ethereal glow over everything from your job to your homelife, you’ll be ready forgive, forget and pop a bottle to mark the occasion. It’s fun and sparkly remember with every great party comes a great hangover.
