Twenty-two-year-old British popstar Harry Styles has made his acting debut in the new upcoming World War Two epic Dunkirk. Releasing in 2017, the film also stars Tom Hardy and Styles plays Tommy, a young and naive British soldier who is left to die after an enemy airstrike attack in France in 1940.
The Christopher Nolan directed film (Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight) means it will most likely be well received. The move by Styles is a deviation from other One Direction band mates who have opted to capitalise as musicians with solo careers. Take a look at the trailer here.
