Hailey Bieber would like everyone to know that despite rumours, she’s not pregnant.
According to the now-infamous gossip Instagram account @DeuxMoi, two very famous celebrities were secretly expecting their first child. Immediately, online users guessed it could be Hailey and Justin Bieber, who have hinted for years that they would like to start a family soon.
While a major news publication jumped on the story and were just about to publish it, Mrs Bieber popped in to expertly shut down the angle.
Posting on her Instagram story, Bieber wrote, “Since I know you guys were about to break your lil story… I’m not pregnant”
Though they’re clearly not starting a family right now, the duo have said publicly that they definitely do want children – they’re just not in any rush.
Just last month, the Biebers spoke about starting a family for their cover interview with Vogue Italia. “The strange thing is that I’ve always wanted to have children early, but now that I’m married, I feel less of an urge,” Mrs Bieber said, before noting that she wants to focus on work for a while. “I am an ambitious girl with many projects,” she added. “It will happen, but not now.”
Her husband added, “We’re still pretty newly married. I mean, we’ll celebrate two years in September. We’ve just been enjoying our time together and getting to know each other deeper.”
So there, you have it. No Bieber babies just yet.
