How was your weekend? Gwynnie had a great one.
First of all, she celebrated her 47th birthday on Friday, and hubby Brad Falchuk wrote a lovely note on Instagram.
“Today is Gwyneth’s birthday so I’m just going to say it – she’s the greatest human being ever. She’s not perfect – her sense of humor can be a little on the dirty side, she gets very angry at other drivers, isn’t that cheery before her first cup of coffee, considers dehydration to be a character flaw and improperly seasoned food hurts her feelings. Even with all of these imperfections, her gifts elevate her – blue eyes that see the best in the people she loves and a tireless drive to make sure they see it too. Soft, hard working hands that she uses to make the most delicious pancakes and make you feel at home with the slightest touch. Extreme curiosity and even more extreme bravery to share that curiosity and the places it takes her with the world. She’s a relentless mother and step mother, the BEST wife, all of her friends know she’s their champion and no one wears clothes as well as she does. She’s endlessly fascinating, succeeds at everything she does and drinks whiskey and eats fried food yet still manages to look like that. Happy birthday, Love. I know I’m not the only person to say, thank God you were born. I love you.”

Gwynnie, perhaps a little overcome, replied with a simple. “Dead. Love you @bradfalchuk” while her famous pals weighed in on his words.
Kate Hudson said, “You should be writer [sic] 🌟 Love this so much! You did forget to mention that she drives like a maniac AS she’s getting angry at other drivers 😂 Happy Birthday Beautiful Gwyneth! ❤️❤️❤️”
While Rachel Zoe added “OK @bradfalchuk you just ruined everything for all of with seemingly great husbands 😭😭😭 … and yes @gwynethpaltrow is in fact pretty damn close to perfect ❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Chelsea Handler might have summed it up best, saying, “Well, this is just ridiculous. What are the rest of us supposed to do? I’m going to take an edible.”
Brad took Gwyneth out for date night in New York to celebrate her birthday. The night prior, the two stepped out for the premiere of her new Netflix series The Politician. And on Sunday, Gwyneth and Brad celebrated their one-year-anniversary, with Gwyneth sharing a sweet snap of the pair enjoying a walk on the beach.
“Year one, done 💙”, she wrote.
After a year of spending just a few nights a week together, the couple have finally moved in together, too.
She might have attracted the wrong kind of attention for her unusual walk when presenting an Emmy last week, but all in all, life’s looking pretty good for GP right about now.
