Gwen Stefani released her new video for her single Misery overnight, a single from her latest album, This Is What The Truth Feels Like. Inspired by her relationship with boyfriend and fellow The Voice U.S. coach, 39-year-old Blake Shelton, Stefani said she wasn’t nervous about sharing such personal details. “I don’t have any secrets; I don’t have anything to hide,” the 46-year-old told EW. “I haven’t done anything wrong. I’m happy to share my story. [This] is really the only record I’ve written that’s mostly happy; all the others are about heartbreak. And there’s some of that on here – it needed that, to make the rest feel as good as it feels.”

Directed by long-time friend Sophie Muller (who Stefani has collaborated with for two decades), the second star of the video is definitely the singer’s couture exploits. Special mention goes to the Sophia Webster thigh-high boots; a pairing that should make boot-wearing specialists Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid’s stylist, Monica Rose, pretty nervous.

And don’t be fooled by the song’s title. If you need further proof Stefani is utterly obsessed with her boyfriend, just look to her 2016 Billboard Music Awards performance with Shelton. The pair did not break eye contact in what was the biggest headline next to Stefani’s lipstick-less lip.

Misery is available now.
