At The 2025 Gotham Television Awards, Understated Style Reigns
The stars align in New York City to celebrate a year of great television

The 2025 Gotham Television Awards took place tonight at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City. Bringing together television’s brightest stars, the evening is dedicated to celebrating excellence in the industry, and with so much to binge these days, there’s much to toast to. Just look at the red carpet, which showcased a slew of sophisticated fashion choices, reflecting the immense talent up for nominations.
Renée Zellweger made a notable appearance in a sleek, off-the-shoulder black gown, reminiscent of her iconic Bridget Joneslook, paired with a low chignon and pointed black heels. Plenty of fresh-off-the-runway fashion hit the red carpet on celebrated attendees, including The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel‘s Rachel Brosnahan in Dior FW25 and Parker Posey, recipient of the Legend Tribute for her performance in The White Lotus season three, in Valentino Pre-Fall 2025.
Other looks included The Studio‘s Chase Sui Wonders in risque Miu Miu and Never Have I Ever‘s Poorna Jagannathan in sheer Stella McCartney SS25, each bringing a different take on summer red carpet style to the event. The awards ceremony celebrated not only individual achievements but also the collective artistry of television, with awards presented to standout series such as Adolescence and The Handmaid’s Tale.
