Cynthia Erivo is one to watch this awards season. The ever talented singer, actress and recently-published author, who was nominated twice last year for her acting and vocal performance in Harriet, always goes the extra sartorial mile, her 2021 Golden Globes appearance no different.
Dressed in a sculptural lime green Valentino Haute Couture gown, cream leather gloves and a towering pair of silver Valentino platforms, she looked insane – particularly when you throw her bold makeup and stunning jewels into the mix.
Makeup artist Terrell Mullen crafted Erivo’s look using Giorgio Armani makeup products, including the legendary Luminous Silk Foundation. Aside from a beautiful complexion, Erivo also wore a vivid purple, under-eye winged liner, and the thickest set of false lashes we’ve ever seen. It was finished with a neutral lip, subtle colour on the cheeks and a bold, gold septum ring.
Award season beauty is often quite classic, so it’s refreshing to see Erivo in a look that’s bold and unconventional. Especially so in a way that clashes wonderfully against her gown (purple and green is one quirky colour combination we can get behind).

Makeup was complemented by Erivo’s signature silvery scalp bleach. Couple that with A LOT of diamond earrings, and you’ve got yourself one hell of a Golden Globes beauty look.
