Draped in black, the only means of differentiation are the metallic detailing in ones gown. But it’s all for good reason. Today, in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal that rocked the world just three months ago and gave power back to hundreds of victims, Hollywood’s leading actresses are all wearing black to the Golden Globe awards. It’s truly one of the most powerful red carpet displays in the Globes’ 74-year history as the women take a stand against sexual harassment and abuse in the workplace. The 89 journalists on the carpet are today encouraged to ask the women why they wear black and the #TimesUp initiative.
