Gigi Hadid famously stopped a YouTube prankster in her tracks on Chanel’s runway during Paris Fashion Week last October, cornering the French comedian and escorting her out of view in a moment that was shared worldwide. This season, the model opted for digitally shutting down YouTuber stars, speaking out against Jake Paul after he wrote a series of tweets about her boyfriend, Zayn Malik.

The whole drama started when Paul tweeted that he “almost had to clap up” the One Direction musician following a confrontation they had in Las Vegas.

“Almost had to clap up zane from 1 direction because he is a little guy and has an attitude and basically told me to f*** off for no reason when I was being nice to him…. zane ik you’re reading this… stop being angry cause u came home alone to ur big ass hotel room hahaha [sic],” he wrote, before adding that Malik “literally started yelling and freaking the f*** out ‘you wanna test me mate’ lol I feel bad for childhood stars.”

Malik didn’t publicly respond to the remarks, but Hadid who was in Milan for Milan Fashion Week, certainly did. “Lol cause he doesn’t care to hang w you and your embarrassing crew of YouTube groupies ..? Home alone with his best friends like a respectful king cause he has me, sweetie,” she wrote. “Unbothered by your irrelevant ugly ass. Go to bed.”

Of course, Hadid and Malik have been on-again, off-again dating for the past four years, since 2015. They first announced a split in 2018, before quietly getting back together a few months later. In January 2019, they went their separate ways again, before they were spotted together at the end of the year. Confirming things, Hadid posted a Valentine’s Day tribute to Malik on her Instagram in February.
