In case you didn’t know, Gigi Hadid had a new boyfriend. His name was Tyler Cameron and he was most famous for appearing in the most recent series of The Bachelorette in the US.
We didn’t watch it, but by all accounts he’s a pretty good dude and his experience on the show reminds us of that time Matty J had his heart broken on national television. Cameron, apparently, was ready to pop the question to bachelorette Hannah Brown, only to have to shuffle off, still holding the diamond ring he’d picked out for her, when she revealed he was not going to get her final rose.
Anyway, he was so beloved by viewers that following the series’ airing, he ended up with a crazy social media following (2.2 million followers, thanks) and landed in the same real life social circles of Gigi Hadid and her pals.
They hooked up in August and were seen out and about in New York on a number of occasions, including at the Zendaya x Tommy Hilfiger show during New York Fashion Week. Cameron even went to the Netherlands with Hadid when her grandmother died.
But according to Entertainment Tonight, it’s all over red rover for the couple, with a source revealing that they are no longer dating.
Hadid has been busy at Paris Fashion Week this week, what with escorting an interloper from the stage at Chanel and closing the show for Miu Miu.
Cameron was approached to be the next Bachelor but turned it down, telling Entertainment Tonight that he “wasn’t 100% there”. He’s moved to New York and works with ABC Food Tours, a food and fitness mentorship program for kids in New York City public schools.
Cameron was Hadid’s first beau since she parted ways with on-off beau Zayn Malik in January.
