A week ago we saw Bella Hadid post a very retro-looking shot to Instagram that had the normally pin straight-haired social media maven display a head full of corkscrew curls. And then five days later, sister Gigi was following suit – showing off a similar look, complete with ragged bow on top.
With the two not ones to shy away from having a little play around with their style, they both appeared to be enjoying their 80s vibing. And while neither sister gave much away when it comes to how they styled their ringlets, we’re going to guess that this isn’t a permanent perm and more like the work of a curling tong (or wig).

For those inspired to give it a go themselves, look for a thin, round curling tong and make sure your hair is completely dry. Next, take up small sections of the hair and tightly curl it around the tong bit by bit until you’ve gone all the way around. Finish with a styling mousse, but leave the brush out of this ‘do.
Now all you need is some old-school Madonna playing in the background and a little leotard action in the clothing department…
