New York City, NY – December 7, 2019 – Florence Pugh attends the World Premiere of Columbia Pictures LITTLE WOMEN, sponsored by Synchrony, at the MoMA in New York City

Florence Pugh loves food, almost as much as we love watching Florence Pugh make food. The Little Women actress took to her Instagram Stories this weekend for her namesake cooking series, ‘Cooking With Flo’. The actress’ previous episodes have included recipes such for the best Sunday roast or pizza dough, and in the process she’s garnered a cult following. But this newest instalment for an easy tzatziki (pronounced as “sat-see-kee”) might be our favourite – and surely give Gigi Hadid’s pasta a run for its vodka.

Tzatziki is believed to originate from South East Europe and the Middle East and is a popular dip for nearly anything you could think of. Yes, it’s that good. And better yet, it is made from ingredients probably already sitting in your kitchen. For Pugh’s homemade recipe, you will need greek yogurt, cucumber, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper. But as the 25-year-old warns, full fat yogurt is necessary and I can’t help but agree.

“I’ll be angry if you don’t use full fat. This is not the time to diet,” Pugh says.

Florence Pugh’s Tzatziki Recipe

1 single-serve tub of full-fat Greek yogurt

1 cucumber

3 cloves of garlic

Olive oil

In a medium-sized bowl, empty the full tub of Greek yogurt. Generously drizzle in olive oil.

Sprinkle in generous dash of salt and “lots” of cracked pepper.

Chop a small knob of cucumber – about two inches – and grate into the yogurt mixture. Leave skin on depending on your preference.

Finely grate in one to three cloves of garlic. As Pugh notes, this is entirely dependent on your preference of garlic. If you love it, use all three clove. With any left over ends, finely chop.

Mix well. Taste, and adjust to your liking.

The actress took to Instagram once again after seeing fans replicate the dish at home. She advises you can add lemon or dill dependent on what you like.

Pugh’s quarantine cooking follows the likes of celebrity chefs Gigi and Bella Hadid who are creating a loyal following with their own delicious recipes. Gigi’s Spicy Vodka Pasta Recipe is a must-try as is Bella’s Chicken Katsu Ramen dish.
