Recently, a newly single Emily Ratajkowksi took to TikTok to declare that she’s officially entering a new stage of her life, entitled her ‘Bitch Era’. The model and author told her followers, “I think we all need to be a little more pissed off. I’m going to be in my bitch era. I think we should all be in our bitch era. I’m just gonna get angry.”

By the looks of things, another recently single woman is also entering a new era. Florence Pugh, who, to be fair if you take the Venice Film Festival red carpet as anything to go by, may have even entered her Bitch Era even before Em Rata did, appears to have been experimenting with her style and beauty look in recent months. Though the British actress is still very much a fan of two-piece looks made up of skirts and crop tops for the red carpet, recently she’s been upping the ante when it comes to bedhead hair, bright red lips, dark eye shadow and short hemlines.

Take her most recent look, for example. For a press call for her latest film The Wonder, Pugh’s longtime stylist Rebecca Corbin-Murray opted for a look by Susie Cave’s The Vampire’s Wife. But instead of going for one of the brand’s signature Falconetti silhouettes, beloved by everyone from Kate Middleton to Sienna Miller and Alexa Chung, Corbin-Murray instead went for a corseted minidress with a lace-up plunging neckline.

The blue printed and tight-fitted dress looked incredible on Pugh, who wore her blonde lob in shaggy waves and added a red lip. Posing with a pout and staring down into the camera, she looked miles away from her usually sunny and smiling red carpet moments in tulle and pink.

Miss Flo, indeed.
