Remember last year’s Brit Collection? An olfactory ode to the cerebral minds of Britain’s finest creatives, The Bloomsbury Set, this year’s dedicated March Collection takes a slightly more beaten track, as Jo Malone draws inspiration from the British harvest. A yield of five limited edition fragrances, Malone has captured the beauty of the bucolic English landscape through scent, with five colognes dedicated to the land: Oat & Cornflower, Green Wheat & Meadowsweet, Poppy & Barley, Primrose & Rose and Honey & Crocus.

An olfactive take on cereals and grains, each scent is designed for Fragrance Combining – a Jo Malone requisite – whilst with their flacons have had a slight update. A changing palette of chalky pastels – seafoam, rose, biscuit, pistachio, mist – sit in company with raw ceramic and clay – grainy yet spectacular. A beautifully inventive way to palate wheat (even for those gluten-intolerant folk), one spritz and you’ll be frisking through rolling fields, plucking vivid cornflowers, collecting fluffy barley, already dreaming of next year’s collection…A Markle-mused, matrimonial fragrance, perhaps? We can only hope.

The Jo Malone Limited Edition English Fields Collection is available today in David Jones.
