Sure the Emmy’s are television’s biggest event of the year but it was model, movie star and Insta-girl, Emily Ratajkowski that won the best beauty look award for the night. Attending this year’s 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony as Zac Posen’s plus-one Ratajkowski paired a navy gown by the designer with a winged, metallic marine green eye. The look was created by Ratajkowski’s go-to make-up man, Hung Vanngo, who knew that nothing makes brown eyes pop quite like green and blue.

Of course there were plenty of small screen queens making their own beauty statements too, starting with the Game of Thrones girls. Emilia Clarke paired her Atelier Versace gown with glowing skin and subtle contouring.

Meanwhile her GoT co-star Sophie Turner opted for effortless waves woven into a loose plait (which gave us some serious Margot Robbie vibes, anyone else?)

America Ferrera and Kristen Bell also got the nude-is-more memo each wearing bronzed make-up looks that matched the Los Angeles heat. Breaking the barely-there mould however was Sofia Vergara, who despite staying true to her bombshell signature with high volume, half-up hair, shifted out of neutral via a matte, plum lip.
