Since bursting onto our screens with a flawless portrayal of young Princess Diana in The Crown’s fourth season, Emma Corrin has cemented herself as one of the most stylish upcoming actors in Hollywood today – even with an entire season’s worth of red carpet looks heartbreakingly not making it out of the fitting room due to Covid. (Here to mourn them).

Proving she’s only going to continue to push the boundaries when it comes to dressing in 2022 is Corrin’s most recent look, which she debuted at the Olivier Awards in London last night. For the ceremony, where Corrin was nominated for her performance in the play Anna X, the 26-year-old opted for none other than new season Loewe by British designer Jonathan Anderson.

The mesh slip dress Corrin wore, which was covered in balloon motifs and finished with a matching deflated balloon breastplate over top, was practically made for her. It was first debuted on the brand’s autumn/winter 2022 runway, which was one of the season’s most shared shows due to the way Anderson pushed the boundaries in every piece.

Naturally, the statement heels that covered Instagram grids the world over, made up of roses, lipsticks and eggshells, have already been worn by Dua Lipa and Chlöe Sevigny thus far.

Corrin paired the dress with matching patent boots by the brand — spot the balloons at the back — and wore her freshly peroxide blonde hair wavy, accentuating her fringe.

Corrin’s secret weapon is her stylist, Harry Lambert, who also happens to be behind music’s equivalent fashion leader: Harry Styles. Posting a photo of his client from the event on Instagram, Lambert confirmed the campiness of the look was on purpose, writing, “This one is for the gays!” Corrin later posted her own slideshow, writing, “To the resiliency of theatres !!! and to god damn CAMP !!”

Obsessed is an understatement.
