While Emily Ratajkowski’s romance with Pete Davidson is heating up, so is her wardrobe. In a bid to fight the winter blues this season it seems the model is dabbling in a hot hue. Across the long weekend the My Body author was captured on multiple occasions wearing a sunny palette of yellow and thus making a convincing case to inject colour in your own closet.
On Friday, Ratajkowski was photographed by paparazzi walking her dog through the West Village. Looking effortless per usual she paired a low slung slinky black maxi skirt with a cropped grey-marle hooded sweatshirt and a pastel yellow denim jacket. Indeed it appears as if coloured denim has made an impressive comeback.
Just a few days later, on Monday evening, Ratajkowski was spotted in Manhattan on official business. To mark the occasion she paired an egg yolk yellow leather trench coat with black leggings and monochromatic boots. In fact, it appears that the model is a fan of an outfit repeat and was seen wearing a similar ensemble alongside Bella Hadid back in February 2020.
Ratajkowski is of course not scared of making a statement, no matter how polarising. In October she reflected on a risqué dress she wore on a 2016 red carpet, recalling how much controversy it garnered. However still to this day she defends her decision to wear the look.
“Some of my agents were mad at me because they thought it was too sexy,” Ratajkowski explained in an interview, per the Huff Post. “I still like that dress, I still think I look great.”
