NEW YORK CITY: As a new dog owner, it is Emily Ratajkowski’s proud duty to take her little good boy for a daily walk near her apartment on Bleeker Street in New York City. And, like most of us, the model has a similar dog-walking route where Colombo’s puppyhood is now a bona fide tabloid beat. So too though is Ratajkowski’s walking wardrobe which usually involves trading a string bikini for a summer mini and a pair of comfort-orientated plimsolls or Nike Airs.
Thanks to waiting paparazzi (Hello, Splash News), we have become accustomed to seeing Ratajkowski promote her own form-fitting label Inamorata on such walks around the streets of Manhattan, almost always coupled with a pair of Linda Farrow cat eye sunglasses. Sometimes, the model even rushes home from work and changes just her shoes to walk Colombo.
When the mini is not Inamorata, however, you can bet your bottom dollar it’s Réalisation Par. Except on Thursday when the 28-year-old stepped out in a snug, ribbed, white, buttoned-down midi by The Line By K. The “Harper” dress (in vanilla, and in all its stretchy cotton and pearlised shell buttons) sold out in most sizes instantly online. But we found a couple of more high-end looks to take you from work function to dog-walker-in-the-city-chic in the time it takes you to tie the laces on your Nikes.
