Last week, Emily Ratajkowski announced she’s expecting her first child to husband Sebastian Bear-McClard, penning an essay both revealing her pregnancy and explaining the couple’s reasoning for not wanting to find out the gender of their child.

After months of posting throwback photos sans baby bump – there were unconfirmed rumours for a while that a famous celebrity was secretly pregnant and had taken a backlog of images so as to throw fans off the scent – Ratajkowski is now fully embracing her bump, even using it to inspire her Halloween costume for 2020.

Paying tribute to Demi Moore’s iconic pregnancy photoshoot for Vanity Fair, Ratajkowski donned a short, black wig, black lingerie and a white shirt, posing in the same way Moore did when she was pregnant with her second child, Scout Willis, in 1991.

She accessorised with chunky gold hoop earrings, strappy heels and even put the words “Demi’s Body” in red letters, similar to the font on the magazine’s original cover. An incredibly chic costume, to say the least.

Five days ago, Ratajkowski revealed she’s now 20 weeks pregnant, writing on Instagram that she’s getting to know her new body. In her recent essay for Vogue, Ratajkowski wrote, “I’m too humbled to have any false notions of control. I’m completely and undeniably helpless when it comes to almost everything surrounding my pregnancy: how my body will change, who my child will be. But I’m surprisingly unbothered. Instead of feeling afraid, I feel a new sense of peace. I’m already learning from this person inside my body. I’m full of wonder.”
