While she did tell GRAZIA this year that she didn’t want to be defined by the people she’d been in relationships with, nobody can ignore the current rumour: Ellie Goulding and Prince Harry are an item.

The world press went into overdrive when the two participated in the Audi Polo challenge on May 29 with “sources” citing they were “all over each other at the after party”. Unfortunately photography was banned inside the event.

“[Harry and Ellie] were part of a wider group including Tom Hardy but Harry and Ellie only had eyes for each other all night – they spent a lot of time sitting together under blankets,” the source told Vanity Fair.

Goulding and the Prince, who met at Prince William and Princess Kate’s wedding in 2011 where Goulding performed, were reportedly seen kissing before exiting. “Harry had to go because he was playing polo the next day. Ellie left about five minutes later.”

And while it remains just that – a rumour – we got our body language expert Allan Pease (peaseinternational.com) to take a look into it. Because we’re definitely not getting any answers from Goulding, who split with her boyfriend Dougie Poynter recently.

“I feel like I’m an interesting person by myself, I don’t need anyone else to make me more interesting” Goulding told GRAZIA. “I’m a very successful musician at this point and I feel like that’s vindication alone of why I’m here and I don’t need to be talked about in that way. I should be talked about in a celebrated way.”

Can you imagine though how celebrated the celebrations would be if Goulding were to become a real-life princess? Pease thinks it’s possible. “Harry has a full genuine smile, he’s enjoying himself and pulling her in close,” he says. “But his body is tense. He doesn’t know where to put his other hand. This could be because he’s nervous about the photo and what it will reveal about the couple. Ellie is in full submission pose. She’s perfectly happy to be dominated and is playing the vulnerable girl here which makes guys feel masculine.”

The second photo is even more telling, according to Pease. “Harry has Ellie is a full, intimate clench,” he says. “Their bodies are tightly connected and they are displaying ‘as one’. This is the vertical expression of horizontal desire in both cases.”

Goulding recently told GRAZIA love and heartbreak is something she’s always had a fascination with. “You can be so in love and then be so heartbroken. It’s interesting, human emotions are. I mean, not just love, but people as well,” says Goulding. And what better way to nurse a sore heart than with a Prince?
