And just like that, it was April.
While still trying to wrap my head around all that 2025 has thrown at us, there’s been plenty of indulgence to keep me going.
Working across fashion and lifestyle, a lot of recommendations and promising launches come by desk, meaning that wading through the newness can be an overwhelming task in and of itself. But as we begin to feel the crisp air of Autumn seeping in, some key finds have already proved worthy of a more permanent spot in my closet (and heart!) this season.
Whether it was snapping up a pair of jeans that take the load off of getting dressed, bringing a touch of luxury to my bathroom or investing in a forever piece of jewellery, there was a lot of stuff to see me through this particularly hectic period.
Ahead, everything that has hit the spot this month (so far, anyway).
GRAZIA’s Editor picks for April 2025

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I have a bit of Goldie Locks syndrome when it comes to denim. They’re always too snug here, too baggy there, and never have just the right wash or density. Meeting Agolde’s ‘Low Curve’ silhouette at Paddington’s The New Trend store right before I took on the annual challenge of winter wardrobe curation felt fated. These jeans are truly the perfect wash of charcoal and have the sturdiness of vintage denim while boasting all the effortless slouch of a modern pair. They sit low enough to be obscenely comfortable while still rising enough to satisfy my millennial need for midriff coverage. Highly recommend.

I love eucalyptus, but fragrances can tend to skew towards more cleaning product vibes than something you’d like to smell like. Enter: Le Labo’s Eucalyptus 20. In this delectable blend, the freshness of eucalyptus and cedarwood is softened by the leathery warmth of labdanum, musk notes and frankincense, resulting in a scent that is as vibrant as it is enigmatic and perfect for a seasonal refresh.

I’m an eager winter shopper, but when it’s hot one day and cool the next, layers and versatile pieces are your best best. With its newest collection, ‘Hawaii 25’, Venroy has answered the call. From bright knits and classic outerwear to mini dresses and going-out tops, the latest range offers comfort and polish rendered in fun hues and prints that keep the summer vibes going well into winter. I’ve been particularly loving this V-neck sweater, thanks to its lightweight feel and tonal vibrance.

Aesop’s scents never disappoint, but this has to be my favourite. Lathering this up in the shower leaves my sensitive skin not only feeling immensely hydrated and supple to the touch but also fragrant with the alluring blend of herbaceous patchouli and woody clove bud.

Maturing is realising that a well-cultivated closet is less about quantity and more about quality. But when it comes to coveting jewellery of a certain calibre of craftsmanship, we can often feel the need to compromise on contemporary appeal. With its cable and buckle motifs, FRED’s Force 10 Rise collection features the reinvention of an icon. Infusing its signatures with a fresh energy and contemporary vision, the latest from the jewellery house playfully blends heritage with modernity, crafting a joyful range that can be mixed and matched to suit any and all occasions.

As it gets chillier, the swims don’t need to stop, but it does call for a swap-out of attire. Hunza G are the best in the biz for swimwear, and their Pamela one-piece has been my new staple. With its iconic stretch, you’re never left adjusting or pulling, and this silhouette, which comes in a fun array of colourways, is especially flattering—particularly if you’re like me and are experiencing some teeny-weeny bikini fatigue.

One thing I will always splurge on, as someone who enjoys hosting, is good soap. Not only in its formulation, but something easy on the eyes will always grab my attention. Trudon’s latest concoction not only smells divine, but its reusable bottle adds plenty to a bathroom’s aesthetic appeal.

I first peeped this With Jéan dress on my friend and instantly loved it. Knowing she was the kind of person who could look good in anything, though, made me hit pause on following her lead. But when I ran into a stranger who was wearing the same look as a top over pants, its versatility won me over.

I’m not a big eyeshadow person, but my lipstick collection is overflowing. As the weather starts to cool, all I want is a deeper red tone that doesn’t clash too much with my warmer undertone and boasts the hydration of a lip balm. Too much to ask for? Not for Celine. The House’s new selection of satin lipsticks offers a spectrum of reds for the ultra-discerning, and its creamy finish is perfect for those who love an in-between feel.

We are so close to my favourite time of year—coat season! Nothing is more sacred to me than coat shopping, and while I look forward to adding to my collection with many varieties, it’s hard to go past this classic tailored piece by Viktoria & Woods. Crafted from a wool and cashmere blend, this coat is just structured enough to make you feel polished (even if it’s thrown over sweats) while still boasting a roomy fit for optimal cosiness.

Moisturiser is the skincare step I am most picky about, and that’s because my skin is rather sensitive and stubborn. While I need a lot of hydration, I detest the feeling of thick creams and have generally struggled to find a happy medium that doesn’t simply amount to ‘It’ll do’ status. But with Mecca Cosmetica’s new gel cream formulation, I may have been silenced. After a week of use (research), I was ready to jot down my field notes when I realised that for the first time in a long time, I didn’t have anything to add to the ‘cons’ side of the list. That’s right—no notes! Formulated with replenishing squalane and a pore-cinching Amino acid complex, this oil-free, fragrance-free, and sulphate-free concoction is also note-free.
