âMiss me?â was the caption Lipa wrote to accompany her first photo in her new era, with the pattern of the Future Nostalgia swiping her grid to announce new music seemingly reoccurring in anticipation of her third studio album.
But, itâs not just a social media move that signals impending music, itâs a shake-up in the hair salon, too.
As seen in the new picture, Lipa has eschewed her signature jet-black locks for a pumpkin-spice shade of auburn.
In the photo, Lipa is lying down with her hands crossed across her body, so thereâs not too much to comment on the length front.
Thanks to Lipaâs trend-setting track record, itâs only a matter of time before the red hue resurgences from when it was abandoned at the dye station in the peak of 2021.
Yet, with Lipa adorning a red, white and blue striped shirt for the photo, it may appear that the pop star is embracing her British roots with an ode to Ginger Spice.
Sure, the zeitgeist is currently fascinated with Posh Spice thanks to David Beckhamâs new Netflix docuseries, but given that Halliwell was the original sonic renegadeâour Gen-Z audience mightnât be aware that Ginger Spiceâs solo career caused the girl band to go on an âindefinite hiatusââwe wouldnât be surprised that Lipa could be the one to turn our allegiance to Halliwell in time for Halloween.
