When Maria Grazia Chiuri presented her debut ready-to-wear Dior runway collection for Spring/Summer 2017, she ushered in the return of the cult J’Adior pumps. The feminine silhouette has undergone many transformations at the helm of the creative director and has formed the blueprint for sporting-inspired styles this season like the Dior 62-22 pumps designed in collaboration with Roger Vivier. Forthcoming styles from the Fall/Winter 22/23 collection also include the Walk’n’Dior court-style trainers and Dway Mules.
On August 19, David Jones Melbourne reopened a dedicated Dior women’s shoe boutique offering a sophisticated shopping experience for cult and coveted new season styles. The permanent outpost has been closed for refurbishment and since opening boasts a welcoming, open layout, complemented by dramatic accents of marble and glass, lustrous, warm details, and sumptuous furnishings. The elegance and modernity that customers expect from any Dior experience. The boutique will carry the aforementioned J’Adior and 62-22 pumps, Walk’n’Dior trainers and Dway Mules.

Further north in harbour side city of Sydney, Dior is holding a temporary pop-up in honour of the extensive history of the Lady Dior bag. Did you know it once had a different name? From July 28 – September 11, the pop-up will carry three ultra-desirable versions of the micro Lady Dior, featuring intricate details of pearls, sequins, or brocade.
