Demi Lovato officially tied the knot with long-term partner and singer-songwriter Jordan Lutes this weekend.
For the Sunday evening ceremony in California, Lovato walked down the aisle in a Vivienne Westwood gown, perfected over the course of five fittings—see photos here.
“I have been a fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time,” the singer, who uses they/them/she/her pronouns, told Vogue. “Specifically, how the silhouettes really complement the curves [of] your body and her use of corsets.”
The former Disney star opted for a pearl-white silk design featuring a corset bodice and A-line skirt. With eye-catching draping at the neckline and waist, the result was a romantic gown inspired by 18th-century high society and Greek sculptural works. The timeless gown was topped off with an ivory, cathedral-length veil.
Continuing with the Westwood theme, Lovato changed into an ivory corseted column dress for the reception. Accenting the sleek silhouette were cascading pearls, draped over the bodice and off the shoulders.
“The pearl detail and draping is such a special element, and each strand was draped and attached by hand, one by one,” Lovato explained. “It’s a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special.”
The now husband and wife pair have been linked since working together on Lovato’s studio album Holy Fvck in early 2022, with Lutes proposing in December 2023 with a pear-shaped Material Good ring.
In September of 2024, Lovato spoke to People about Lutes, stating, “It’s very grounding to have a partner that is so supportive, so loving, so caring.” They continued, “I love him so much and he treats me so amazingly.”
Back in February of this year, Lovato again gushed about their then-fiancé on Instagram.
“Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!!” they wrote alongside a bridal-themed photoshoot they posed for together. “The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life, and I have you to thank for that.”
